Meadow released: There’ll be Shelter pay

If like many people you were initially charmed and then emotionally savaged by the Shelter series of games, you may be interested in Meadow, the latest animal adventure from Might and Delight.

Pitched as “A forum in games clothing” Meadow is a multiplayer sandbox rather than a heart wrenching single-player survive ’em-up, designed first and foremost for fun and frolics. As such it doesn’t follow on from the Shelter games in any meaningful way, although if you own any titles in the series you’ll have access to added creatures and features. For those that own absolutely everything in the Shelter lineage, including soundtracks and interactive books, the life of an eagle awaits.

If you’re thinking of getting any of the Shelter games to boost your supply of playable creatures, you’ll be pleased to hear that all the games on sale. As for Meadow, it’s going for a cheap and cheerful £1.99 with the first in a series of updates planned for November 2nd.
